Rebecca Rook

Rebecca joins George P. Mann & Associates with ten years of high-volume immigration experience through work in New York where Rebecca successfully represented immigrants in various matters including before Immigration Court, before USCIS, and before the Board of Immigration Appeals. Rebecca became interested in immigration law after volunteering at the Tibetan Refugee Center where she saw U.N. vehicles but never saw U.N. staff available to assist Tibetans. That, along with her interest in human rights, pushed her to the field of immigration law. Rebecca graduated from Seattle University School of Law with Honors and is admitted to the New York State Bar. Rebecca also worked as an intern for the Kenyan Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission and worked in the International Human Rights Law Clinic in law school.

In her ten years of practice, Rebecca has won several remands from the Board of Immigration Appeals, won several difficult asylum cases and cancellation of removal cases, and received grants on various applications before USCIS. Rebecca also has a background in social work and utilizes those skills to connect with clients.
