Our story
Mann Law Group began in 1980, when George P. Mann opened an immigration practice built on his own history. George came to the United States as a refugee from communist Romania, the child of parents and grandparents who survived repeated persecutions. For him — and for the refugees, immigrants, and children of immigrants who make up the firm today — immigration law has never been an abstraction.
Over more than four decades, the firm has served the immigration needs of individuals, families, employers, and organizations throughout the United States and abroad. It has built its reputation on the difficult cases: immigration court, agency appeals, hard waivers, federal litigation, and mandamus actions when the government delays unreasonably.
A new name, the same firm
For most of its history, the firm was known as George P. Mann & Associates. In 2025, we became Mann Law Group — a name that reflects the firm's growth and expansion, and the team of attorneys who now carry its work forward. The name changed. The people, the standards, the office, and the phone number did not.

That conviction has guided the firm since 1980: caring for our clients before material goals, solving problems through genuine communication, and measuring success by whether our clients attain their dream of living and working in America — and by sharing their joy when they do.
