Frequently Asked Questions
Immigration law is complex, and a small mistake can cause long delays or a denial. A consultation helps identify your options, risks, and next steps before you file.
Yes. Immigration is federal law, so the firm represents clients across the United States and abroad while remaining based in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Call the office at (248) 932-0990 or submit the consultation form. The team will follow up to schedule the right type of appointment.
Bring any immigration documents you have — notices from USCIS or the immigration court, prior applications, passports, and entry records. If documents are missing, come anyway; the attorney will help identify what is needed.
Our attorneys and staff speak English, Arabic, Spanish, French, Romanian, Hungarian, Italian, and Serbo-Croatian. Tell us your preferred language when you schedule and we will plan the consultation around it.
Timelines vary widely by case type, government processing times, and your history. During a consultation the attorney will explain the realistic range for your specific situation and what can affect it.
Call the office right away at (248) 932-0990. Detention and removal cases move quickly, and early attorney involvement protects options like bond hearings and stays of removal.
Many immigration matters are handled for a flat legal fee, so clients understand the cost before moving forward. Payment plans may be available. Government filing fees and other case-related costs are separate.

Farmington Hills, Metro Detroit, and the rest of Michigan.
The office is in Farmington Hills, and a good share of our work comes from Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb counties. But immigration filings are federal, and most of a case is documents, deadlines, and one or two appointments — so where a client lives matters far less than people expect. We act for clients across Michigan, including families and employers we have never needed to meet in person.
Cases that reach immigration court are the exception, because those hearings are held in Detroit. If your matter is headed to the court on Michigan Avenue, or you would rather work with a firm that knows the local USCIS field office, start with our Detroit immigration practice.
