About this role

Mann Law Group is hiring a full-time immigration paralegal for our Farmington Hills office. You will collect documents and information from clients, prepare draft filings for federal and state agencies, research immigration law and procedure, and track every case in our web-based case management system.

Responsibilities

  • Collect information and documentation from clients.
  • Prepare draft filings for the relevant federal and state agencies.
  • Research immigration law and procedures.
  • Prepare draft correspondence and memoranda.
  • Enter case information into our web-based case management system.
  • Track the status of filings and tell clients what they need to do next.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Two years of immigration paralegal experience preparing and filing immigration applications is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Applicants with an associate degree, some college, or equivalent experience are welcome.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and/or Spanish is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently with a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with immigration software is helpful.
  • A professional appearance.
  • Ability to commute to our Farmington Hills, MI 48331 office.
